Next to the chalet, a Camping Pod / Tiny Lodge (the only one in the park) will be installed in 2026, which is very unique and also for 2 people.

Hello, we are Mark & Ellen from beautiful Deventer and we enjoy our new chalet called Chalet Mauro, which is equipped with all modern conveniences. The chalet is for 2 people. 

Next to the chalet, a Camping Pod / Tiny Lodge (the only one in the park) will be installed in 2026, which is very unique and also for 2 people.
The chalet with Camping Pod is located in the most beautiful spot of Waterpark Yn'e Lijte, less than 50 metres from the water.

Experience the green recreational island, its unique location and the hospitality of the small-scale park. The island has its own restaurant on the waterfront. For water sports enthusiasts, there are moorings for hire and, of course, sloops can also be hired through reception.

Explore the lakes and villages by (rental) sloop, or by bicycle via the ‘pontjes route de 8 van Grou’ (ferry route 8 of Grou). In short, there is plenty to do. You can also bring your own boat; mooring can be rented in advance at the reception of Waterpark Yn'e Lijte.

Relaxation, tranquillity, space and water sports on a beautiful island in the heart of Friesland, surrounded by water near the picturesque village of Grou on the Pikmeer (known for skutsjesilen and Sint Piter) and adjacent to the ‘De Alde Feanen’ National Park. Grou is centrally located in the Frisian Lake District.

Via the Pikmeer and the Wijde Ee, you can easily reach the protected nature reserve De Alde Feanen. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful nature reserve of Fryslân, but you will also sail past picturesque villages and locks that have to be operated by hand. We highly recommend taking a boat trip along the canals of the Frisian cities. From the water, you will see the classic canal houses in a completely different light.

With a surface area of over 52 m², you will have everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Chalet Mauro and the separate Lodge (Camping Pod) each have 2 sleeping places.

Mooi chalet, alles in nieuwstaat aanwezig. Lekker schoon. Zeker een aanrader! Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug.

Chalet Mauro hier verbleven wij 14 dagen met veel plezier. In de chalet is werkelijk alles aanwezig voor een heerlijke vakantie

Fantastisch chalet met een gezellige inrichting, aan alles is gedacht! Je zit midden in de natuur vlakbij het water. Vlakbij verschillende leuke gezellige steden als Sneek, Leeuwarden, Grou, Dokkum en Harlingen.

Mooie groene omgeving, chalet is leuk ingericht en schoon, dichtbij Leeuwarden en de wadden eilanden. Vlakbij verschillende steden. Echte rust en ruimte, heerlijk vertoeven buiten onder overdekte loungehoek en onder het schaduwdoek heerlijk ontbijten aan de tuintafel.
Echt een aanrader!
